Geoff Watts and Julia Fowler

Geoff and Julia are co-founders of fashion intelligence start up EDITD, which they began in 2009. Their idea grew from Julia’s experience of frustration as a former fashion buyer, when she repeatedly had to guess rather than know what was going to sell in the fashion business. She began to dream up a product which would combine the mass of data available online with a traditional approach to forecasting. Geoff’s expertise and background in building technology with big data helped make the business what it is today, and now EDITD delivers customised industry trend data to clients across the world.

EDITD announced a $1.6m seed round of funding in June 2011.
